Dear Friends,
Welcome to the 144th year of the Association. I am honoured to be asked to serve a second year as president. Also this is my first year as speaker finder having worked with Margaret Cunningham for the last few years to ensure the high standards of our talks are maintained. I do hope you enjoy my choices for this season and I’m grateful for any suggestions you might have for future talks.
As always any help you can offer, either by becoming a committee member or offering to meet and transfer speakers to lectures would be appreciated. Please speak to me or a committee member if you feel you can help. Lastly, do encourage friends and family to become members or invite them along for a taster lecture at visitor rates of £7. Gift vouchers for talks are also available, a unique gift I’m sure you’ll agree.
Very best wishes for this exciting new season.
June Goodrick
President
